Set in a peaceful green valley on the southwest coast of the Alentejo, Casa Nómada offers a refined natural space.
Here, time is spacious, silence is welcomed and nothing is required of you except your arrival.
The quiet presence of the land brings a natural stillness that gently supports rest, clarity and renewal.
An Intimate Retreat Experience
With only three couples per retreat the atmosphere remains intimate, personal and deeply restorative. Offering a rare balance of nature, privacy and comfort.
Each couple resides in their own private house with terrace, thoughtfully designed to reflect the quiet elegance of the surrounding landscape.
Here, mornings unfold slowly. Doors open to fresh air and birdsong. Conversations move without interruption and time begins to soften.
Every element of the retreat is thoughtfully designed to support restoration. From nourishing meals prepared with fresh, seasonal ingredients to gentle guided practices that invite deep relaxation and reconnection.

Days unfold slowly and naturally, allowing you to alternate between guided practices, time in nature, deep rest, and meaningful time together.
All practices are accessible and guided with care. No previous experience is required.

Introduction & sharing practical things about Casa Nomada, introduction of us, the program and to get to know each other.
With a cacoa ceremony and guided sensory opening meditation to connect with yourself, the land, the group and to set an intention. We are your wishes for this week? And what would you like to take home?
16.00-18.00 Free time
Free time to spend as you feel like. You may like a refreshing dip in the natural swimming pool, enjoy the new surroundings, or maybe you just start reading the book you were planning to read.

Day 2

11.00-12.00 Pranayama
This workshop offers a combination of breath, focus and meditation. We use the breath to navigate prana – life force energy – serving as a bridge between the body and mind.
12.30-14.00 Lunch
14.00-17.00 Private Couples Session During your stay at Casa Nómada, you and your partner will enjoy a private Couples Session, designed to deepen your connection and relax together. You can choose how to spend this special time: an individual massage, a 4-hands massage, or a couples ritual—all guided by our holistic therapist, Ilona Bezema.

Day 3

11.00-12.00 Hatha Yoga
Hatha Yoga is ideal for everyone who is seeking for relaxation. You will be invited to listen to your body, promoting relaxation over pushing into difficult postions. The practices help to calm your nervous system, so you’ll feel relaxed and peaceful

15.00-16.00 Private icebath Experience
This experience is an invitation to consciously meet the edge between discomfort and presence, in a safe, supported, and carefully facilitated setting. Before entering the water, you will be gently prepared through breathing techniques and grounding practices that help regulate the nervous system, calm the mind, and build inner steadiness.

Day 4

11.00-12.00 Qi Gong
A practice combining gentle, flowing movement, posture, deep breathing and ental focus/visualization to cultivate balans “qi” - vital energy in your body. “Gong” means skill. Therefor it is the skill of practicing energy work. Qi Gong is supporting your system to remove blockages, and to reduce stress.

Experience the breathtaking beauty of the Rota Vicentina’s Fishermen’s Trail, where dramatic cliffs, expansive ocean views, and untouched coastal landscapes invite you into deep connection with nature.

Drawing on her expertise in yoga, breathwork, Reiki, massage, and bodywork, Ilona offers holistic sessions that support both physical relaxation and deeper inner balance.
Her goal is to help clients feel more grounded, energized, and aligned with their well-being.
Rene & Paula
René and Paula are the heart behind Casa Nómada, bringing many years of experience in hospitality and service. With a strong background in restaurants, catering companies, and event management, they have developed a true passion for creating welcoming atmospheres and unforgettable experiences.
